+slim whittman you absolutely right,I know that to be a fact because I was a welder at the Niagara Machine and Tool Works in Buffalo NY and at one time it was the biggest machine tool builder in the world, for a 💯 years but went under because of bad, bad, management, but the good news is that some of the machines we built are still in operation today,we built 1000 ton presses you can see some on RUvid 👩🏭
Haha! Venezuela? They just gonna give IMPSA the country in trade for the turbines? I assume this project went bust? Venezuela is not paying anything anytime soon or in the next 10 years. They are a failed state in the name of socialism.
doesn't matter who the client is, it's much the same as building a house - you pay a LARGE deposit & pay progress payments at various stages the manufacturer is assured of payment, because the client pays 20 mil up front and makes progress payments or work STOPS DEAD
1:33 It must be pretty stressful being the machinist. Imagine turning the crossfeed 1/1000 of an inch too much and the whole multi-million $ piece needs to be junked!
At 3:24 they say the Gap is .2mm. 1mm =.03937" a human hair is about .004" .2 x .03937 = 0.007874" .008" is twice as thick as the average .004" human hair
Dhiraj Sharma, I'm sure you have found a way to break the laws of physics... NOT! Hahahaha. So should we believe that you are smarter than every single engineer, physicist, etc. in the world and have invented something (that works) that no one else thought about before, yet at the same time you are so dumb that you have to peddle your supposed super invention in the comment section of a RUvid video? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! As I said, go back to school, get a basic understanding of nature's laws, or better yet take your medication and stop wasting our time! Lol.
Galileo Galilei Sir .as we all know that the blade of turbine rotate slowly as per wind flow but my attachment can produce more rotation while connected to Ac or Dc generator shaft instead of Turbine blade or shaft .
Dhiraj Sharma. You specifically said "prototype attachment for your Turbine", not the generator. But either way it won't work! You need to govern the speed of the generator also, you don't want it to overspeed or you lose your AC power frequency stability. The only way to make them more efficient would be to make the turbine produce more torque so you could use a larger generator with the same amount of water but I'm sure they took care of that in their design, there is a limit of what you can physically do with certain amount of water, blade efficiency, etc. Now you are going to say what you meant was an attachment to improve torque right? Hahahha. BS!
Dhiraj Sharma. They do not want them to run faster, they actually have to control the speed to prevent them from running too fast. So considering you don't even know how they work I really doubt your "attachment" would do any good. Back to school boy!
Man that milling machine can only do turning it seems .... 0.2 mm is not half the thickness of a hair , a piece of hair is closer to 0.05 mm . A lot of misinformation from the commenter.
Not the largest hydro electric in the world, not even close. The largest is installed in Grand Coolie, and built by Allis Chalmers. It's over a million each
Matjaž Š You are correct on the design of the turbine. However the narration said the largest hydro-electric undertaken. Which it isn't even close by grand collie standards. Not the largest Kaplan turbines either. 9.5, meters roughly 31.2 ft vs, Allis Chalmers largest were 34.5 ft, quite a bit larger
