The Child Friendly Space is a joint project between SOS Children's Villages in Syria and Massar project -- Syria Trust. An educational, pedagogical and entertaining center that targets children between 5 to 16 years old, through implementing group of activities based on their needs in aim to enhance their skills and develop their capability to become positive part of building their society. This can be done by providing a safe creative environment for traumatized children because of the ongoing Syrian crisis.
Children will participate in a group of the center's activities that aim to reach the maximum number of most traumatized groups (children& parents). These activities were based on the needs and situations of the affected people of each local community. They are: recreational, creative, physical, communicative & skillful activities. A child's consistent visits to the Child Friendly Space will help him\her to gain new skills that will empower the knowledge, experience, and become a productive member within his own society. Nevertheless, re-living his/her lost childhood during the ongoing crisis.
