So it's a bad idea to cut the trees 'cause the soil is unfertile. But 1000 years ago they could feet a 20 million people city with that soil. Think again. Not talkin' about the enviromental disaster it would br, just the logic.

The ancient peoples were living throughout the entire planet. I love learning and the people who risk themselves and their life to inform. I hate that our scholars are segregated so a black is seen giving an "afrocentric" point of view. Imagine with him and say Dr. Valentine or Bobby Hemmit or take Dr. Ben. Our ancestors and children of the people they take about know they say it. This mixed with that we get to the real.

Get out of amazon. No one will be there. The indigenous deserve to be there. To say that the Amazon soil its is not the most fertile soil in the planet it is the most stupid idea I ever had contact with. If look just some kilometers under Amazon its the most productive agricultural land of the planet. Enormous kilometers of land basically emerged in superficial water. Amazon soil have the biggest aquifer in the world. How many years do you think the water was there. Weke up guys.

Bought my Bio Char at Home Depot but it took three salesmen to find it in the green house area of the store. However, you can make it yourself...ask your local organic farmer how they do it. If you had Mega Fauna around where you live in the era before 12,870 years ago you'd want your water supply within the walls rather then outside as defense. www.motherearthnews.com/organic-gardening/making-biochar-improve-soil-zmaz09fmzraw

Graham Hancock is really well spoken and interesting to listen to. His work however lacks a lot of evidence and he's not well respected in the scientific community or journals. He tends to extrapolate far too much without proof. Super interesting to listen to though.
Peter Koperdan
Peter Koperdan 2 days ago
dc7407 On the other hand, the establishment ignores a ton of uncomfortable evidence. Often based on the fact that it doesn’t fit with their theories. Which is the opposite of the scientific method. Crazy.

redguyphil1 2 days ago
And why does it seem so farfetched? If there was an ancient civilization that lived there for thousands of years its entirely feasible. Not every culture is as obsessed with cutting down trees and destroying nature. We already know if you add trees or vegitation the ecosystem pops up in the area almost overnight.

I sometimes wonder if maybe this isnt the first incarnation of humans to get to this point technologically or maybe even further and that we have either been destroyed or destroyed ourselves time and time again after making the same mistakes and maybe were destined to keep doing it until we learn

How seriously can you take a guy who uses Mayan as an adjective and/or a possessive. Mayan refers only to the language, nothing else. This man has not read a single academic book on the topic or he would know that.
daiel daielsson
daiel daielsson 3 days ago
👍The word Mayan is not correctly used as an adjective. It is never correct to use Mayan to name cultural objects associated with Maya people, culture, or civiliations. Thus uses of Mayan in front of words such as calendar, hieroglyphs, civilization, society, peoples, is always incorrect. The word Maya is a noun but it also an adjective, that is used to name things that belong to the Maya, to Maya culture, to Maya people, to Maya civilization.
