The Conways are the two faces of the same lie: one feigns loyalty to Drumpf, other feigns dignity towards Republicans' shenanigans.

As expected the hearing is a total waste of time and taxpayer money courtesy dopey democrats, honestly with all the utter BS,scheming and crap pulled by democrats and their leaker socialist pals how could anyone admit they are a democrat. Just a bunch of falafel heads.

Does anyone else think of the nursery rhyme about Jack Sprat and his wife when they look at George and kelly-anne? Or is it just me?

The population of the US is 327 million people, with about 209 million over the age of 18 years. If you think back to the last significant legal impasse in an election it was to *Bush vs. Gore,* which eventually set up the circumstances of war in Iraq. This now with Trump is similar in the divisions, but also different. Some people were apoplectic about having a Black man with progressive ideals as president. So the Tea Party was born, fizzed out and then Trump and his ilk revived and manipulated their old gripes against government. */P* Say there's 100 million people (older teens and adults) who don't care what laws Trump or his family break. Even if he gets impeached or loses the next election, those people aren't going anywhere. No amount of logic or reasoning can persuade them. If they were sore losers when Obama was in office, things aren't going to be pretty when Trump gets taken down. It's a lose-lose situation and indicative of a barely functional society, so conserve your resources and get out when you can.

I quoted population numbers for a reason, how many people support him is non-trivial. But also we have to think about what justifications supporters invoke for defending DJT. People don't let go of their religious beliefs and this is why Trump has given shape to something really dangerous. ruvid.net/video/video-QxbDjDRW-IU.html

It would be great if there was someone designated to cite the law on whistle blower protection whenever they bring that BS up. "We haven't heard from him. Bring him in front of us, even though he's protected by the law, because we want to pick him apart, rather than deal with the issues they brought to our attention!"

I'm so gonna steal that defense! -"Sir, do you know how fast you were driving right there?" -"Well, I was not as fast as I could have been..."

Epstein's pedophilia could have been a lot worse. Then public opinion drove the poor guy to suicide. Who feels ashamed?

Sondland was willing to do Trump bidding until that meant maybe going to jail, then decided to spill the beans, followed by Trump claiming he does know Sondland. The man he hand picked to be an Ambassador and donated $1 million to Trump

It's so strange George has completely other opinions than his wife. It's like George Conway can't have his own political opinion because he's married to kellyanne.

What’s disgusting is that Republicans is continuously trying to out the whistleblower. Who is the whistleblower does not matter at this moment. It’s too late. Knowing the person identity will not undo the damage that has been done when there’s so many evidences. You can’t out a whistleblower. The anonymity is important to ensure check and balance in a government. Intimidating whistleblower shows that you don’t respect the law.

Rep. Devin Nunes, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, said the Ukraine affair has “no intelligence component whatsoever." He also suggested Democrats were holding these hearings at the House Intelligence Committee because they lost confidence in the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. Jerry Nadler. One thing to note: Nunes failed to mention that the Ukraine affair came to light after a whistleblower from the US intelligence community raised concerns about President Trump’s dealings with Ukraine. The inspector general for the intelligence community deemed the complaint to be “urgent” and accurate, and shared it with the House Intelligence Committee, as is required by law. Clearly, it is an intelligence matter. Nunes was right to point out that impeachment hearings are typically held under the House Judiciary Committee. Democrats have indicated that the judiciary committee will take the reins after the intelligence committee finishes their hearings and sums everything up in a public report.
