Yeah, actualy more of mixed local culture from neighboring island, actually rendang is from the minang culture in Sumatra region Indonesia, and a lot of minang people are in Malaysia and become Malaysian, even you could find some of the Javanese flavours are in Malaysia too since a lot of Javanese work there.

Tbh gordon's hands are truly professional in focusing on one country style cooking. But mixing 3 at once sure is tough. Im glad he did so well and those judges are actually very talented in food testing. Good job indeed

Gordan has a lot of respect for Malaysian cuisine, even as a Singaporean I got to say I love Malaysian food btw Gordan Ramsey is a very very humble man, unlike what most people think. Even as a well-known chef he never stop learning.

I have no doubt that Gordon is a first class chef, but I don't think he has enough experience in competitive cooking in general. I'm pretty sure that Bobby Flay and all the other Iron Chefs could beat him most of the time unless he gets into cooking competitions on a regular basis. He has proven in this video that he learns quickly and that he would become a champ, but, of course, that's not his main career thing. He's making much more money in TV hosting and other ventures.

well every aunty will tell you the same advise, always measure the level of the water by making sure you dip your index finger on the rice, and the level of the water slightly above the first line of your index finger
