A should I give Frank a little bit more time Ferguson went to Seasons I think that then he won everything you know there was glimmers of greatness so shows had his critics especially on BBC see even when they went which is noticeable stuck with solskjaer hookers now playing more regularly linking with Fernandes and that's the difference United even though they've not had some brilliant results recently will they draw it's like a lot which shows that they're in the right frame of mind I don't know what was going on with Chelsea but I did hear when the players were coming out some of the outfield players with keeper of Chelsea was on the opposition's team you can look at it and you'll find I'm right but hey I'm going to put Frank I'm not a Chelsea fan but that World Cup when I was jumping up and down spinning my beer only defined out the goal was disallowed means in my book it'll go onto better things

The best thing would have been putting Lampard up as an assistant to Tho as Tuchel. He could have learnt under an apprenticeship, then took over. Right man for the job in the long run i think

Ridiculous to expect immediate results. Why would anyone want to put themselves in that situation? If you do, you basically have no life. I hope he received a nice golden parachute.

Just shows what a truly awful man Roman Abramovich is. Arrogant, impatient, and with not a jot of care for loyalty. I'm no Chelsea fan by any stretch but believe given time Lampard could have been a good if not great manager. He was Chelsea through and through and loyal, the later an extremely rare commodity. Perhaps the job was too soon for him. When will the UK football authorities wake up and smell the coffee, and get rid of these dodgy billionaires with dodgy money and ban them from UK football. Probably never as they seemed too easily swayed by money too. People like Abramovich just want to buy success irrespective of the consequences and it has pretty much destroyed English football.

Lampard was a placeholder. He was appointed for the duration of the transfer ban, because no top manager would go to Chelsea with it still in place. Did he ever ask himself WHY Abramovich wanted him? He is not known for appointing rookie managers (well maybe AVB). He was available, popular with fans and cheap. Lampard, of all people, knows how ruthless Abramovich is. He was set up and yet Lampard still thought that he was "not like other (Chelsea) managers".

The Brits are angry because an English man got sacked for bad job. Hahaha. They got a German who knows the job you and can deliver. The only reason Lampard was given the job was because he played for the club before and not because he qualifies.

In the long run, Frank´s to be the winner in this case. Chelsea will remain confirmed as a hire-and-fire club, Tuchel will be fired once he hits a sequence of defeats. Frank has proven to be up to that top level, and has the potential to develop further. Why doesn´t the CFC board stick to their skills: oil wells, gas pipes and "money transfers"? Or learn football?

I don’t think anyone can hate frank, I think he should go somewhere which promises enough time even if that means dropping down a level. Gerrard has been given enough time and look what he’s managing to do, (no disrespect intended for Scottish football) it’s all a learning process and he’s very young for a manager.

We allowed this to happen. We were happy with allowing foreign investors to enter the league and take control. We celebrated it and welcomed it. If you allow ruthless businessmen to own your football club it will be run ruthlessly. Premier league clubs need to look at the German model of running football teams. There's far less influence from dodgy foreign billionaires and home grown talent is put first.

Everyone is mad now because it involves Frank Lampard. Where were these rxns when it was Antonio Conte. Y'all raised the flaws of previous managers on TV despite winning trophies but are so quiet of Frank's. Now you are mad because he's English? Get over it. Chelsea is just a Russian business in English land. Move on.
Shizhe'e Shilah Shiye
All those who are moaning or upset about Frank Lampard's departure need to get over it, Frank's always going to be a Chelsea legend, but it was obvious he just wasn't ready for such a big step up yet. The smile had gone, and he's demeanor had changed due to the pressures of managing such a big club and players. That's not to say that he might just come back in the future with more experience behind him. I still believe he will make for a top top manager one day, in my opinion Frank has already proven his credentials and potential, and would have learnt an incredible amount from his first Managerial experience at Chelsea. That said, this Tuchel guy definitely a very good choice of manager by Chelsea to bring them forward... he is German, which is fantastic for Rudiger Havertz and Werner... he already has bags of experience... is very good tactically, able to utilise different tactics and change systems during a game, oh and he is still very young himself. I still believe Chelsea will finish in the top 4 this season.
Relentless Truth89
Do not agree with the sacking. Totally disgusting. Every team has had a bad patch this season and im sure frank would have steadied the ship and made a push for the top 4. Im an arsenal fan and a few weeks ago we were 15th. Dont panic and show faith. That being said.. the fact that tuchel (a german) was instantly hired leads me to assume that the board didnt feel frank was getting the best out of their investment in hazertz and werner. Good luck for the future Frank.

abramovic has invested a lot of money in the club and has been super successful over a 15 year period, won a lot of trophies and had some great players. he considers chelsea as one of the top european clubs and the club conducts itself in terms of such decisions accordingly. the results at chelsea since the last time they won the league would get any manager the sack at any other top european club (bayern, barca, madrid, juve). club legend or not, I am not surprised by this decision at all. Lampard did well last year given the circumstances, but this year given the investment in the team, the results/performances have been well below the standards expected at a top european club.

So I don’t know why people are mad that Lampard is gone. Sarri who coached an amateur team to then manage Chelsea and who had won a big trophy was then booed on several occasions by the fans despite getting us third!?! Yet when Lampard is sacked these same fans are saying that the board should be ashamed of themselves. They Should have given him time etc etc is ridiculous, I could see it from last season that this season will be his last. It’s a fact that had it been anybody else or if he was a foreigner these fans would have said get out because they done it to Conte. Done it to Sarri even done it to Ancelotti. It’s those double standard fans that are plastic not realists like me.
