Okay, I think people need to go back to the donut “whole” monologue. And turn on subtitles. “Whole” and “hole” are used interchangeably, and it gives the whole monologue a lot of meaning and it’s REALLY cool

Interesting that Apple refused to allow them to use an iPhone for a baddie :) I wonder if Apple would allow them to use a Chinese knock off that the baddie uses through the film. So it would look like a genuine product, but when the baddie gets ' unmasked ' it is also shown that the phone is a knock off? Therefore connecting the villain to iPhone knock offs :) Could be a marketing ploy ... And, yes, this was written tongue in cheek just so the internet understands :)
1:35 Those two windows on the left are part of a circular rotunda of sorts, as you can see from the outside shot. The two windows we see are the two most right side windows. There are more that circle to the left but they are blocked from view by the wall in front of them from our vantage point. That’s really obvious. And when the ball comes out the other side, you can tell it’s coming from an opening that is beyond the first two windows. 1 sin for you.
Zendaya’s Louboutins
2:58 (14th sin) is a joke. Harland did that so that there would be a witness of him even after his death. Did you not watch the movie? CinemaSins, you are reaching at this point.

At the start, when they say Harlan's plots just come into his head "fully formed", that's a direct reference to the JK Rowling quote about how she came up with Harry Potter.

How did Cinemasins not use Archer saying "Benoit balls" in the outtakes! That shit is hilarious and Jeremy obviously is a fan of Archer

I love how they first showed Daniel Craig in this movie sitting in the dark doing James Bond things and then gave him the least James Bond accent ever.
This might be the lowest Sins on a movie on this channel...

sometimes i watch these videos bc i basically just want to rewatch the movie under 20 minutes and the snarky commentary is only a pleasant bonus

They missed a sin, when Marta’s at home in the beginning of the movie she gets a call from Walt. She knows this because the number is already saved under his name, and when she answers she says “Hey Walt” so why does Walt respond with “Hey Marta, it’s Walt”? Other than that I love this movie, I just thought that one part was amusing.

Hey! I think this was an intentional bit of dialogue that was meant to show, again, that the Thrombeys really don't listen to Marta at all!

Knives Out (2019) Full Movie Sub All Language. HD click here ► dayflix.cc/movie/546554/knives-out.html "When renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer) is found dead at his estate just after his 85th birthday, the inquisitive and debonair Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is mysteriously enlisted to investigate. From Harlan's dysfunctional family to his devoted staff, Blanc sifts through a web of red herrings and self-serving lies to uncover the truth behind Harlan's untimely death."

I think it's heavily implied that Ransom did do something to Marta's car since he leaves first after the will is read and every single warning light is on in her car

The sin you gave for the hospital calling Marta isn’t actually a sin; she mentions earlier in the film to Blanc that she gave the hospital her phone number so they’ll call her if there are any updates.

I can't stand the bullshit any longer. I knew everyone probably thought this was great but I mean come on it was every other murder mystery but this time featuring politics. The movie's plot was horribly predictable and cheesy with many plot points being down to story convenience. And don't get me started on the fucking overused boring tropes. This movie felt like it had every single trope imaginable how can this even get praise. The family being secretly awful people and the father wanting to teach them all a lesson (I guessed this from the moment the movie started), the super genius detective that knows literally everything (I mean come on Sherlock Holmes did this shit way better), and the main character being a goody-good character that inherits everything. I am not gonna lie this whole movie was filled with completely anti-climatic plot twists because I have felt like I have seen this plot a million times. Hollywood needs some fucking creativity in the mystery genre and its not just this movie every mystery movie I have seen recently is dog shit.
Martjna 15 days ago
At first I also couldn't understand why Blanc wanted to keep Marta around for the investigation... but when he said that he'd understood she was involved from the second he'd seen her, I realized there would've been no other way to keep questioning her, since at first glance she looked completely innocent and he wouldn't have had any reason to keep calling her back

Me and brother guessed that Ransom was the murderer right from the start but we thought it couldn’t be THAT obvious or simple. Like c‘mon, during the will reading, his too relaxed attitude was such a huge sign already. A bigger plot twist would have been Marta being the actual real murderer the entire time and just fooling everyone else

X Factor 18 days ago
& nobody is talking about Why Ransom smiled at martha before entering into police car & she slightly nodded at him ? Does that mean they were together in this whole plan ? As the reputation of the director is that he always does the opposite what his audience expect.

Was it only me or anybody else who kinda guess that Harlon was not given morphine?? I was checking on his sweating the whole time, and the only thing left was who mixed meds. Then came ransom, and then I knew he was the culprit. However movie was quite entertaining, but not so thrilling.

I think sins should be removed because 1) no one was able to remember the country she was from and 2) when the family recounted the events of the birthday party, they all remembered themselves next to Harlan when the cake was being placed in front of him. Just little details I appreciated.

I love it how CinemaSins trying their best to find flaws in this masterpiece. The only sin in the movie is that it has raised the bar for every other movies way too high.

He missed a ton of sins. I think he has a lot of polictical bias to stay on the good side of hollywoke. And i think they changed the ending and it was supposed to be a twist of the old man writing a book
I am 90% certain that Harlan noticed that his medication labels were switched, and that's why he knocked over the Go board and had Martia mix them back on reflex. That would also explain why he goes into a deep breakdown of the benefits of using his meds to poison him, as if he's impressed. He's a murder mystery author. Of course he knew someone was trying to kill him. He went out of his way to provoke the entire family. He wanted to create a case that would bring his family down so they'd be forced to live on their own. He killed himself knowing perfectly well that he wasn't overdosed.
Robert Winslade
Robert Winslade Month ago
I'm not so sure about that personally; I'm not sure how he would notice that the medicine had been switched, and he would be relying in Marta to accidentally switch them back again, which was by no means guaranteed. Personally though, I think he planned to commit suicide that evening anyway, even before the medication was switched; he'd set his affairs in order that week; he spoke with Marta about wanting to set the mistakes he had made with his family right before he died and had spent the day talking to each of his family one by one about that. Plus he was eyeing up the knife he used to kill himself before the apparent accidental overdose, and didn't seem at all fazed about the fact that he was going to die within minutes. Plus a dramatic suicide on his birthday with his awful family all in the house, just after changing his will to cut them all out of it is pretty much exactly the kind of death a man like him would want. He may have guessed that the medicines might have been switched once it turns out that the antidote is missing, but that would only be a guess and all it would change would be that his nurse was then implicated in a murder that he had originally intended to be suicide. The only reason he would be so keen to cover her tracks would be if he thought there was at least a chance that she had administerd a lethal dose of morphine
