I ran into a problem with my portable PC, the monitor just seems to freak out and not work with it, and i have to had it replaced and still the same issue and can't figure it out. It's USB powered and i don't think power is the issue for the monitor, but the HDMI signal from my portable PC is, and it makes no sense, since every main monitor works fine with it and one other portable monitor, but not this one. Anyone else experienced this???

Ok when i said it does not work with it, well it does, but not how i want it to work by. When i plug in the portable PC into main (not battery) it works with the PC, But when the PC is plugged into battery, flickering.

i finally got my portable pc up and running and powering using an external power bank, the only issue i have at the moment is the power bank fan gets really loud. i might modify it or replace the power bank it self . power bank: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0753FDN1R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Haha, no thanks! I don't need to game in the park, and a laptop will do me for portable use. I would like a portable monitor for my SFF build though, Asus has some nice options there.

just so I get this right, you can use any portable monitor out there? they aren't just to "extend the screen of a laptop" ?
NeXTech
NeXTech Year ago
No not any portable monitor, most portable monitors get the display only from usb, this one was unique because it got power from usb but display from HDMI, which meant I could plug it into the GPU of the pc

Hello, so thank You for make This amazing tech, your video inspired me for many months... I want to ask How can i know what battery can hold my Pc? It consumes 85watts, my Power supply is 500w but ofcourse i only use 85w, its a ryzen 2200g + 20w monitor. So i Wish i could use It portable for about 2 hours or 3. Thank You!

I mean you made a portable pc version 2.0.. I can add onto that, and the case will be all hand made with molten, and cooled aluminum-oxide. pcpartpicker.com/list/b4dCdX, www.rei.com/product/123285/goal-zero-yeti-400-lithium-portable-power-station. 281 watts(desktop-mock laptop watt usage)/400 watts (total battery)=70.25% watt usage. 70.25%*60 minutes=42.15 minutes worth of playtime. (I haven't found a better battery as they're crazy as balls....) System internals without the case cost: $1,582.43 Lithium Ion Battery: $599.95 Total cost: $2,182.38 So far these are the hypothetical plans for the build, as I am still improving upon it before I actually go through with the build. But I really want to end up with being able to put the battery inside the Desktop, or attached to the desktop case to make it all in 1.. (mock laptop)

www.google.co.id/search?q=lunch+box+pc+case&safe=off&tbm=isch&source=iu&pf=m&ictx=1&fir=NI7E1YpZBUZ-RM%253A%252CZVCrc1Jr8Q5sRM%252C_&usg=__zqFUXMlOfQcvn1-6TsAu4-ThCYs%3D&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjZq9XJ48DXAhUKYo8KHWabC1gQ9QEISDAA#imgrc=NI7E1YpZBUZ-RM: BTW you might want to look to these ones for inspiration, these are "Lunchbox"PCs with monitor and keyboard already attached to the case, but they are military or industrial grade so with so many things us consumer don't need, but a consumer grade version, albeit much slimmer, of those, will be very interesting indeed.

Zac,i love Your Idea,im Searching to make my case for mini itx,i Found that h110s1 is the most portable itx,so You can use It,use a micro itx powersource like Notebook ones, and GTX mini, and also You can get a mini itx case, people say its for micro on my country but its mini...some h110m are 20cmx20cm and wont fit mini itx cases.. h110s1 is 15*15cm.

Pretty sure it's pronounced "gee-shee-k" but who knows, I might just a complete idiot who doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about. Edit: Please learn to use your mic... hearing audio from only the left channel or only the right channel just completely throws the viewing experience off. And your camera mic sounds so much better than what ever mic you're using for your voice overs. Edit 2: Seems like you have a Blue Yeti... Why does your audio sound so crappy?
NeXTech

+axedavid201 Your probably right! But who knows with these Chinese companies names haha because for a while I was using the blue yeti wrong! Sorry about that, I'm still learning but my more recent videos should all be much better!
