When you make your own teriyaki sauce you can dehydrate the leftover solids and make a pretty nice powdered spice ;). Not fermented but no waste :D.

Really good tip: watch at 2x on mute if you want to learn about the actual recipe itself and not interested in the painful "humour", unmuting and slowing playback to 1.5x for the Matty Matheson bit, then resuming standard 2x + no audio for the remainder.
